訓狐（關西呼為訓侯山東謂之訓狐即鳩𩿍也亦名鉤格晝伏夜行鳴有恠經文作薰胡非體也）。

Xunhu 訓狐 (called xunhou 訓侯 west of the Pass, and called xunhu 訓狐 east of the Mountains; that is, the horned owl [jiuchi 鳩𩿍], also named gouge 鉤格; it hides by day and flies by night, and its cry portends anomalies; the sūtra text writes 薰胡, which is incorrect in form).
