腥臊（又作勝同先丁反下又作鱢同乘勞反通俗文魚臭曰腥猳臭曰臊猳音加腥[胎-口+(隳-隋+?)]二字並從肉經從月作者書寫人誤錯也）。

腥臊 (Also written 勝, the same; 先丁反 [s+eŋ]. The lower [character is] also written 鱢, the same; 乘勞反 [ź+âu]. The Tongsuwen says: "The smell of fish is called 腥; the smell of a breeding boar is called 臊." 猳 is pronounced [like] 加. Both 腥 and 臊 take the flesh radical (肉); when written with the moon radical (月) in sūtras, it is an error made by scribes).
