霑污（輙廉反考聲云小溼也廣雅云霑漬也顧野王云霑猶𣽈也說文從雨沾聲經作沽俗字也）。

霑污 (fanqie: 輙 + 廉; the Kaosheng says: "Slightly wet." The Guangya says: "霑 means soaked." Gu Yewang says: "霑 is like moistened." The Shuowen says: "It is classified under rain (雨) and takes 沾 as phonetic." In the sūtra it is written as 沽, which is a vulgar character).
