遞互（上提禮反鄭注爾雅遞迭也考聲云代也說文更易也從辵虒聲辵音丑略反虒音天伊反經作遞俗字非也）。

Alternately (遞互; the first character is [pronounced with the] fanqie tí + [l]ǐ. Zheng's commentary to the Erya says: “Dì means alternate.” The Kaosheng says: “It means to replace.” The Shuowen says: “To change and substitute. It takes chuò ‘walk’ as semantic classifier and sī as phonetic.” Chuò is [pronounced with the] fanqie chǒu + [lü]è; sī is [pronounced with the] fanqie tiān + [y]ī. The scripture's writing it as 遞 is a vulgar character and is erroneous).
