繖葢（蘇嬾反顧野王云繖即盖也漢書云時天大雨上騎持繖盖也說文從糸𣀙聲下垓害反說文苦也從草盇聲也盇音合從大從血經從羊作盖俗字也）。

Parasol and canopy (繖葢; the first character is [pronounced with the] fanqie sū + [l]ǎn. Gu Yewang says: “A sǎn is a canopy.” The Hanshu says: “At that time it rained heavily, and His Majesty rode holding a parasol canopy.” The Shuowen says: “It takes mì ‘silk’ as semantic classifier and sǎn as phonetic.” The second character is [pronounced with the] fanqie gāi + [h]ài. The Shuowen says: “Bitter. It takes cǎo ‘grass’ as semantic classifier and hé as phonetic.” Hé is pronounced hé; it takes dà and xuè as components. The scripture's writing it with yáng ‘sheep’ as 盖 is a vulgar character).
