瓔飾(上伊盈反說文作賏婦人顯飾也從二貝經從衣作䙬字書無此字非也下昇織反鄭注禮記云飾者情之章表也說文㕞也從巾飤聲也一曰橡飾也經文有從市作飾非也刷音霜刮反橡音象)。
Necklace ornaments (瓔飾; the first character is [pronounced with the] fanqie yī + [y]íng. The Shuowen writes it as 賏, meaning a prominent ornament of a woman; “it takes two bèi ‘cowries’.” The scripture writes it with yī ‘clothing’ as 䙬, which is not found in character dictionaries and is erroneous. The second character is [pronounced with the] fanqie shēng + [zh]ī. Zheng's commentary to the Liji says: “Ornament is the outward expression of inner sentiment.” The Shuowen says: “To brush. It takes jīn ‘cloth’ as semantic classifier and sì as phonetic. Another says it means an oak decoration.” Some scriptural texts write it with shì ‘market’ as 飾, which is erroneous. Shuā is [pronounced with the] fanqie shuāng + [gu]ā. Xiàng has the pronunciation xiàng).
