擯黜（上賓牝反韻英云擯擯𠩋也考聲弃也落也從手賓聲也下椿律反廣雅黜去也古今字詁貶也杜注左傳云故也范寗集解云黜退也說文貶下也從黑出聲或作絀椿音勑倫反）。

Expel and dismiss (擯黜: the first [character] is bin-pin fan; the Yunying says: "擯 means to reject and repel." The Kaosheng says: "To discard; to demote." It derives from radical 'hand' [手] with 賓 as phonetic. The second [character] is chun-lü fan; the Guangya says: "黜 means to remove." The Gujin zigu says: "To demote." Du [Yu]'s commentary to the Zuo zhuan says: "Former." Fan Ning's Jijie says: "黜 means to dismiss." The Shuowen jiezi says: "To degrade downward; derived from radical 'black' [黑] with 出 as phonetic." Sometimes written as 絀. 椿 is pronounced chi-lun fan).
