視覘（謟焰反杜注左傳覘伺也鄭注禮記云闚視也古今正字從見占聲）。

Spy and watch (視覘: [覘 is] tao-yan fan; Du [Yu]'s commentary to the Zuo zhuan says: "覘 means to watch for." Zheng [Xuan]'s commentary to the Book of Rites says: "To spy and watch." In the Gujin zhengzi it derives from radical 'see' [見] with 占 as phonetic).
