掘井（群勿反顧野王云掘謂發地廣雅穿也說文從手屈聲）。

掘井 (fanqie: 群勿). Gu Yewang says: '掘 means to dig the ground.' The Guangya says: 'It means to pierce/bore.' The Shuowen says it is formed from [the semantic component] 手 (hand) and 屈 as the phonetic component.
