齅者（許救反說文以鼻就臭曰齅從鼻臭聲古文作齅經從口作嗅俗字也）。

Those who smell (齅者: *xu-jiu* fanqie; the *Shuowen jiezi* says: approaching an odor with the nose is called *xiu*; it derives from 鼻 with 臭 as phonetic; the ancient form was written as 齅; the sūtra text writes it with 口 as 嗅, which is a vulgar character).
