奮迅（上分問反鄭注禮記奮動也廣雅振也舒也郭注爾雅云物有力多自奮迅故以為名說文翬也翬猶飛也從奞在田上奞者戍惟反奞謂鳥張毛羽自奮故奮字從奞）。

Vigorous stride (奮迅: the upper character is with the fanqie of 分 and 問. Zheng's commentary on the Liji says: "奮 means to move vigorously." The Guangya says: "To shake; to unfold." Guo's commentary on the Erya states: "Things possessing strength often rouse themselves vigorously (奮迅), hence the name." The Shuowen says: "翬; 翬 means to fly. Composed of 奞 over 田." 奞 has the sound with the fanqie of 戍 and 惟. 奞 refers to a bird spreading its feathers to rouse itself, which is why the character 奮 is composed with 奞).
