衰朽（率追反考聲衰弱也羸也韻英秏也微也說文草雨衣也象形字下休九反孔注尚書云朽腐也爛也古今正字從木丂聲丂音考之也）。

衰朽 (shuài + zhuī [shuī]. Kaosheng: 'Feeble; emaciated.' Yunying: 'Diminished; slight.' Shuowen: 'A grass raincoat; a pictograph.' Lower character: xiū + jiǔ [xiǔ]. Kong's commentary on the Shangshu says: 'Rotten; decayed.' Gujin zhengzi: 'Derived from 木 (wood), with 丂 as phonetic.' 丂 is pronounced kǎo).
