鄔波索迦（上烏古反下薑佉反梵語也唐云近事男能發菩提心受持在家五戒等親近承事大比丘僧因以為名）。

鄔波索迦 (Upper character: wū + gǔ [wū]; lower character: jiāng + qū [jiā]. Sanskrit [upāsaka], in Tang called 'service man' (layman). One who can generate the bodhicitta, receive and uphold the five lay precepts, and draw near to serve the monastic community of great bhikṣus; hence the name).
