對治 (The upper character is pronounced 都 + 內 [*duì*]. The *Guangya* says: '對 means appropriate; facing.' The *Shuowen* says: 'Emperor Wen of Han, regarding words as frequently insincere, removed 言 and 口 and added 士 to form 對.' In the sūtra text it is written with 至, which is incorrect. 丵 is pronounced 牀 + 學 [*zhuó*]. The lower character is pronounced 直 + 吏 [*zhì*], or 直 + 梨 [*chí*], both being acceptable).
