或攫（歸籰反又音歸碧反亦通淮南子曰鳥竆則搏獸竆則攫蒼頡篇攫搏也說文扟也從手矍聲經文作爴音同字書竝無爴字未詳所出也矍音王钁反搏音博扟音所巾反矍音凶籰反也）。

Or seize (或攫: gui + yue fan, or pronounced gui + bi fan, which is also acceptable. The Huainanzi says: when birds are hard-pressed they strike; when beasts are hard-pressed they seize. The Cang Jie pian says: 攫 means to strike and seize. The Shuowen jiezi says: to snatch. It takes the hand (手) signific and jue phonetic. In the sūtra text it is written as 爴 with the same pronunciation; none of the character dictionaries contain this character 爴, and its provenance is unclear. 矍 is wang + jue fan; 搏 is bo; 扟 is suo + jin fan; 矍 is xiong + yue fan).
