皓白（毫告反韻英云皓素也爾雅白也說文皓字從白從浩省聲也經從曰俗字也）。

Gleaming white (皓白: [皓 is] hao + gao fan. The Yunying says: 皓 means plain white. The Erya says: white. The Shuowen jiezi says: the character 皓 takes the white (白) signific and hao abbreviative phonetic. In the sūtra it takes the sun (曰/日) signific, which is a popular character).
