或豎（殊乳反顧野王云豎正從豆也說文亦豎立也從臤豆聲經本從立作竪俗也臤音口間反）。

或豎 (Has the fanqie *shu* + *ru* [shù]. Gu Yewang states: "*Shù* correctly has *dou* (bean)." The *Shuowen* also states: "*Shù* means to set upright. Formed with *qian* and *dou* phonetic." Sūtra editions write it with *li* (stand) as 竪, which is vulgar. 臤 has the fanqie *kou* + *jian* [qiān]).
