麁穬（上倉烏反顧野王云麤不善也鄭注禮記麤猶䟽也廣雅大也說文作麤云行超遠也從三麤正字也下觥猛反說文云穬粟有芒也從禾廣聲也）。

麁穬 (The first character has the fanqie *cang* + *wu* [cū]. Gu Yewang states: "*Cū* means not good." Zheng's commentary on the *Liji* states: "*Cū* is like coarse." The *Guangya* states: "Large." The *Shuowen* writes it as 麤 and states: "To stride and surpass far. Formed with three 麤, which is the orthodox character." The second character has the fanqie *gong* + *meng* [kuàng]. The *Shuowen* states: "*Kuàng* is awned grain. Formed with *he* (grain) and has *guang* phonetic").
