亢旱（上康浪反周易亢龍有悔王輔嗣注云亢謂極也說文從大省象頸[瓝-勺+血]形經本作冗俗字也）。

亢旱 (The first character has the fanqie *kang* + *lang* [kàng]. The *Zhouyi* states: 'The arrogant (*kàng*) dragon has regret.' Wang Fusi's commentary states: '*Kàng* means extreme.' The *Shuowen* states: 'Formed with *da* abbreviated, depicting the shape of the neck and throat.' Sūtra editions write it as 冗, which is a vulgar character).
