孤煢（古文惸僗二形同蕖營反無父曰孤無子曰獨無兄弟曰煢煢單也煢煢無所依也字從卂從熒省聲卂音雖閏反）。

Solitary and destitute (孤煢: the ancient characters are 惸 and 僗, pronounced qiong [qu + ying fan]. Having no father is called 孤; having no children is called 獨; having no brothers is called 煢. 煢 means solitary, having no one to rely upon. The character is composed of xun [卂] and the abbreviated phonetic ying [熒]; 卂 is pronounced xun [sui + run fan]).
