舟楫（又作揖同子葉反易云黃帝剡木為楫通俗文櫂謂之軄釋名云楫捷也撥水使舟捷疾也）。

Boats and oars (舟楫: also written 揖, same; zǐyè fanqie [jí]. The *Yijing* says: The Yellow Emperor whittled wood into oars. The *Tongsu wen* says: A paddle is called a 軄 [oar]. The *Shiming* says: 楫 means rapid (*jié*); churning the water makes the boat go swift and fast).
