流彌（亦名嵐毘尼諸經或作藍此云解脫處亦云斷亦名滅正言藍軬尼此云監即上古守園婢名也因以名園飯那此云林也軬音扶晚反）。

Lumbinī (流彌: also named 嵐毘尼 [Lumbinī]; various sūtras sometimes write 藍. Translated here as place of liberation, also as severance, and also named cessation. The correct term is *Lambani*, translated here as overseer; namely, the name of a maidservant who guarded the garden in high antiquity, and the garden was named after her. *Vana* translated here is grove. 軬 has the sound fúwǎn fanqie [fàn]).
