盲冥（上麥庚反說文云目無眸子也從目從亾亾亦聲也下覓萍反郭注爾雅云冥昧也說文冥幽也從宀從日從六冖音扃聲也）。

盲冥 ("blind and benighted"; the former character, fanqie: 麥 + 庚. The Shuowen says: "Eyes without pupils; it takes 目 and 亾, 亾 also providing the sound." The latter character, fanqie: 覓 + 萍. Guo's Commentary to the Erya says: "Ming (冥) means obscure." The Shuowen says: "Ming means gloomy; it takes 宀, 日, and 六, with 冖 providing the sound 扃").
