悒恨 ("grieved and resentful"; the former character, fanqie: 陰 + 汲. Wang Yi's Commentary to the Chuci says: "Yuyi (鬱悒) means sorrow showing on the face." The Cangjie pian says: "Yi (悒) is the appearance of unease." The Shuowen says: "Yi means unsettled; it takes 心 as semantic and 邑 as phonetic." The latter character, fanqie: 痕 + 艮. The Cangjie pian says: "Hen (恨) means resentment." Gu Yewang says: "When thoughts are not eased and joyful, it is called hen; it takes 心 as semantic and 艮 as phonetic").
