髁已下（上誇化反說文云髁髀上骨也從骨果聲經本從足作跨是舉足過其上也非[骨*(垂-土+木)]髀之字髀音毘米反詮音卩花反或作𡱼）。

髁已下 (The first character has the fanqie *kua* + *hua* [kuà]. The *Shuowen* states: "*Kuà* is the bone above the thigh (*bì*). Formed with *gu* (bone) and has *guo* phonetic." Sūtra editions write it with *zu* (foot) as 跨, which means stepping over something with one's foot, not the character for the thigh bone. 髀 has the fanqie *pi* + *mi* [bì]. 詮 has the fanqie *jié* + *huā*. It is also written as 𡱼).
