魚鼈（鞭滅反周易云離為鼈考工記云鼈外骨而內肉者也呂氏春秋云朱鼈六足有珠說文云鼈介蟲也從黽敝聲字書作蟞經本從魚作鱉俗字敝音弊黽音萌耿反）。

魚鼈 (Has the fanqie *bian* + *mie* [biē]. The *Zhouyi* states: "Li is the turtle (*biē*)." The *Kaogongji* states: "Turtles (*biē*) are those with bones outside and flesh inside." The *Lüshi chunqiu* states: "The red turtle (*biē*) has six legs and possesses pearls." The *Shuowen* states: "A *biē* is an armored creature. Formed with *min* (toad) and has *bi* phonetic." Character dictionaries write it as 蟞. Sūtra editions write it with *yu* (fish) as 鱉, which is a vulgar character. 敝 is pronounced 弊 [bì]. 黽 has the fanqie *meng* + *geng* [mǐng]).
