爭聳擢（聳息勇反擢直角反切韵稱聳高也蒼頡篇曰擢抽也言抽樹枝條高上也）。

Vying in towering heights (The fanqie for 聳 is 息勇 [sǒng]; the fanqie for 擢 is 直角 [zhuó]. The Qieyun states that 聳 means tall. The Cang Jie Pian says: '擢 means to pull out or sprout.' It refers to tree branches sprouting tall and upward).
