相庇映（下卑至反鄭玄注禮記曰庇覆也尒雅曰庇蔭也字書曰映傍照也彩間也言相庇相映如五色之綺錯也映字古正體作𰥬當日中央為映或有之從日邊作英者謬）。

Sheltering and reflecting one another (The fanqie for the second character is 卑至 [bì]. Zheng Xuan's commentary on the Liji says: '庇 means to cover.' The Erya says: '庇 means to shelter.' Character lexicons state: '映 means to shine laterally, or intermingling colors.' It means they shelter and reflect one another like the interwoven patterns of five colors. The ancient standard form of 映 was 𰥬, meaning the sun directly at the center as reflection; instances written with the sun radical beside 英 are erroneous).
