珍草羅生悉芬馥（芬孚云反馥符福反爾雅曰珍美也賈逵注國語曰珍寶謂以寶為草楚詞曰羅生乎堂王逸注曰羅謂列而生也）。

Precious herbs grow in spread arrays, all fragrant and scented (fragrant [芬]: fanqie 孚 + 云; scented [馥]: fanqie 符 + 福; the Erya states that 珍 means beautiful; Jia Kui's commentary on the Guoyu states that 珍寶 [precious jewels] refers to herbs made of jewels; the Chuci states 'growing in spread arrays across the hall,' and Wang Yi's commentary states that 羅 refers to growing in rows).
