垣墻繚繞（垣于元反繚零鳥反毛詩傳曰垣墻也說文曰繚纏也謂周匝纏繞也廧字籀文隸文皆作廧今或加土也）。

Enclosing walls encircle (enclosure [垣]: fanqie 于 + 元; encircle [繚]: fanqie 零 + 鳥; the Mao Poetry commentary states that 垣 means a wall; the Shuowen states that 繚 means to wind around, meaning encircling all around; the character 墻 in both ancient seal script and clerical script was written as 廧, and nowadays the earth radical is sometimes added).
