Long arms (*xiubi*; *xiu* has the *fanqie* onset *xiang* and rhyme *you*; checking the *Yupian*, adornment [*xiu*] and long [*xiu*] both derive from the character *xiu* [脩] with the meat radical meaning dried meat; nowadays some treat dried meat as adornment or length, both of which are errors; *xiu* [脩] and *xiu* [修] are homographs).
