Concealed blemish (*nici*; *ni* has the *fanqie* onset *ni* and rhyme *li*; *ci* has the *fanqie* onset *ji* and rhyme *yi*; the *Guangya* states: "*Ni* means to conceal." Du Yu's commentary on the *Zuo Zhuan* states: "*Ni* means to conceal; *ci* means an illness." This means that the truth of suffering conceals the faults and afflictions).
