天𠕋（冊測革反說文曰冊符命也謂上聖符信教命以授帝位字或從竹或古為[川@((舉-與)*(舉-與))]象形也）。

Heavenly mandate (天𠕋: 冊 has cègé fanqie [cè]. The *Shuowen* says: 冊 means an auspicious mandate; it refers to the auspicious tokens and trust of the high sages, their teachings and orders conferring imperial status. The character is sometimes composed with bamboo, or in ancient script as [川@((舉-與)*(舉-與))], a pictograph).
