僮僕作使（作則各反使所吏反案玉篇古之用字幼童為僮僮僕為童與今一倍別也鄭注禮記曰僕為賤役之人也）。

Servants and laborers (Zuo [作] is pronounced with the fanqie ze-ge [zuo]; shi [使] is pronounced with the fanqie suo-li [shi]. According to the Yupian, in ancient character usage a young child was written as tong [僮], while a servant was written as tong [童], which is completely the opposite of contemporary usage. Zheng's commentary on the Liji says: "Pu refers to those engaged in lowly service.")
