釋迦牟尼（釋迦能也種族望稱也釋音作樂呼迦字作吉俄反呼牟尼此云寂默也德行之號也）。

Śākyamuni (Śākya means “capable,” which is the name of his clan; the pronunciation of 釋 is pronounced like 樂, and the character 迦 is pronounced with the fanqie 吉俄. Muni is translated here as “silent one” [or sage], which is a designation of his virtuous practice).
