深入法旋澓（旋徐攣反澓浮福反切韻稱旋洄也三蒼曰澓深也謂流水下有深穴則令水洄也經本從方者音徐緣反切韻稱還也）。

Deeply entering the whirlpool of dharmas [深入法旋澓] (xuan [旋] is pronounced 徐攣 [z- + (l)iuɛn > xuán]; fu [澓] is pronounced 浮福 [bʰ- + (p)uk > fú]. The Qieyun says: “Xuan means to whirl.” The Sancang says: “Fu means deep; it means that when flowing water has a deep cavern beneath, it causes the water to swirl.” Editions taking the fang radical [旋] are pronounced 徐緣 [z- + (i)wɛn > xuán], and the Qieyun says it means to return).
