剎那羅婆牟呼栗多（仁王經云九百生滅為一剎那九十剎那為一念案俱舍論等謂時之最少名一剎那一百二十剎那名一怛剎那六十怛剎那名一羅婆三十羅婆名一牟呼栗多三十牟呼栗多為一晝夜也）。

Kṣaṇa, lava, and muhūrta [剎那羅婆牟呼栗多] (the Renwang jing says: “Nine hundred arisings and ceasings make one kṣaṇa; ninety kṣaṇas make one thought-instant.” According to the Abhidharmakośa-śāstra and other texts, the shortest instant of time is called one kṣaṇa; 120 kṣaṇas make one tatkṣaṇa; sixty tatkṣaṇas make one lava; thirty lavas make one muhūrta; and thirty muhūrtas make one day and night).
