攘臂瞋目（攘如羊反孟子曰攘臂而下車顧野王曰攘謂除去衣袂而出臂也袂音彌勵反袖也）。
"Bared his arms and glared with eyes wide" (攘 [to bare/roll up] has the fanqie ru + yang. Mengzi states: "He bared his arms and descended from the chariot." Gu Yewang states: "攘 means to remove one's sleeves and expose one's arms." 袂 has the fanqie mi + li, meaning sleeve).
