廛店隣里（廛除連反鄭注禮曰廛謂市物邸舍也謂停估客坊邸也尚書大傳曰八家為隣三隣為朋三朋為里五里為邑此虞夏之制也廛字經本從厂作者謬也）。

"Market stalls, shops, and neighboring hamlets" (廛 [market stall] has the fanqie chu + lian. Zheng's commentary on the Rites states: "廛 refers to storehouses for market goods"; meaning wards and inns where traveling merchants lodge. The Great Commentary to the Classic of Documents states: "Eight households make a lin; three lin make a peng; three peng make a li; five li make an yi. This was the system of the Yu and Xia dynasties." For the character 廛, sutra manuscripts that write it with the radical 厂 are erroneous).
