得此解脫其已久如（久謂久近如謂如何故維摩觀眾生品云舍利弗問天曰天止此室其已久如答曰如耆年解脫舍利弗言止此久耶天曰耆年解脫亦何如久今准此文久如即是久近如何之問辭也）。

得此解脫其已久如 [How long has it been since you attained this liberation?] (久 refers to long or short duration (久近); 如 means how (如何). Thus the 'Contemplating Sentient Beings' chapter of the Vimalakīrti-sūtra says: "Śāriputra asked the goddess: 'How long have you dwelt in this room (天止此室其已久如)?' She answered: 'As long as the Elder's liberation.' Śāriputra said: 'Have you dwelt here that long?' The goddess said: 'And how long has the Elder's liberation been?'" Now, based on this passage, 久如 is a phrasing asking how long or how recently).
