翊從（翊以力反尚書大傳曰翊輔也毛詩傳曰翊敬也字又作翼翼與翊義古別今通也）。

Assisting and following (*yi* [assisting] is pronounced with the fanqie *yi* + *li*. The *Shangshu dachuan* says: "*Yi* means to assist." The Mao commentary on the *Classic of Poetry* says: "*Yi* means reverence." The character is also written as 翼 [wing/assist]; anciently *yi* [翼] and *yi* [翊] had distinct meanings, but today they are interchangeable).
