瑩徹心城（蒼頡篇曰瑩治也賈注國語曰徹明也說文曰徹通也今謂治理心城使其通達無所擁塞也）。

Polishing and penetrating the fortress of the mind (the *Cangjiepian* says: "*Ying* means to refine." Jia Kui's commentary on the *Guoyu* says: "*Che* means bright." The *Shuowen jiezi* says: "*Che* means penetrating." Here it means refining and ordering the fortress of the mind so that it penetrates thoroughly without any obstruction).
