舟艥（艥秦業資葉二反通俗文曰擢謂之檝釋名曰檝捷也撥水使舟倢疾也又案檝字不著戈音乃資葉反然訓義無別）。

舟艥 [Boats and oars] (艥 has two fanqie pronunciations: 秦 [qín] + 業 [yè] fanqie [jié], and 資 [zī] + 葉 [yè] fanqie [jiē]. The Tongsu wen states: 'Oars are called 檝.' The Shiming states: '檝 means prompt; it stirs the water to make the boat move swiftly.' Note further that when the character 檝 lacks the 戈 radical, its sound is 資 [zī] + 葉 [yè] fanqie, yet the gloss and meaning are identical).
