過爾燄海（尒焰者此云所知謂智所知境非預識境由其轉若南聲為尒塩故非轉毘若南聲也）。

過爾燄海 [Crossing the ocean of the knowable (jñeya)] (爾燄 [jñeya] is translated here as 'the object of knowledge' (所知), meaning the realm known by wisdom, not the ordinary realm of consciousness. Because it is a phonetic transposition of jñāna into jñeya, it is not the transposition of vijñāna).
