摩竭魚（此云大體也謂即此方巨鰲魚其兩目如日張口如𡼏谷吞舟光出濆流如潮若欱水如壑高下如山大者可長二百里也）。

Makara fish 摩竭魚 (translated here as "large body"; that is to say, what in this region is called the giant turtle-fish [ao]; its two eyes are like the sun, and its opened mouth is like a mountain valley; when swallowing a ship, a gleam of light emerges; its gushing outflow is like a tidal bore, and when it gulps down water it is like an abyss; its rise and fall are like mountains; the largest can be two hundred li in length).
