輔弼（弼皮筆反尚書大傳曰天子必有四隣前儀後丞左輔右弼廉潔而切直曰弼大戴禮曰弼者拂也拂天子之尚常立其名匡過而諫諍謂之弼）。

Aides and ministers 輔弼 (弼, fanqie: 皮筆 [bì]; the Great Commentary to the Shangshu says: "The Son of Heaven must have four neighbours: in front the Ceremonialist, behind the Assistant, on the left the Aide, and on the right the Minister; one who is uncorrupted, upright, and straightforward is called a 弼"; the Da Dai Liji says: "A 弼 is one who rectifies; he rectifies what the Son of Heaven esteems, always establishes his reputation, corrects errors, and remonstrates with him—this is called a 弼").
