親戚（戚千歷反孔安注書曰戚近也顧野王曰近所以為親也毛詩傳曰相親曰戚戚字正冝從豎心經本作戚者俗也）。

Relatives and kin (親戚: 戚 is read 千 + 歷 fanqie. Kong Anguo's commentary on the Shangshu says: '戚 means close.' Gu Yewang says: 'Closeness is the reason for being related.' The Mao Commentary on the Shijing says: 'Being fond of each other is called qi (戚).' The character qi (戚) should properly take the vertical heart radical (忄); that sūtra editions write it as 戚 is vulgar).
