[生/(丹-、+│)]紅（戚經反東方𤯞色也木生火火色丹故從生從丹丹𤯞之信必然也經文作[卄/生/(月-二+┴)]華之[卄/生/(月-二+┴)]非也[卄/生/(月-二+┴)]音紫盈反三蒼謂韭之英曰[卄/生/(月-二+┴)]也）。

Qīnghóng [生/(丹-、+│)]紅 (azure and red; [q + j]īng / qīng fanqie; the color of the east; Wood generates Fire, and the color of Fire is vermilion (dān), hence it is composed of 'life' (shēng) and 'vermilion' (dān); the nature of cinnabar and life is necessarily so; the sūtra text writes [卄/生/(月-二+┴)], the [卄/生/(月-二+┴)] of flowers, which is incorrect; [卄/生/(月-二+┴)] is pronounced [z + y]íng / jīng fanqie; the Sancang says that the flower of the Chinese chive is called [卄/生/(月-二+┴)]).
