敏捷（上旻殞反孔注尚書敏疾也考聲敏聰悟也亦達也說文從支每聲或從民作敃經從心作慜誤用也下潛葉反方言捷惠也疾也說文從手疌聲疌音同上）。

Quick and nimble (the first character is *min* + *yun* [mǐn]. Kong's commentary on the Shangshu says: "*Min* means swift." The Kaosheng says: "*Min* means clever and perceptive, and also capable." The Shuowen says: "Categorized under 'action' [攴/攵] with *mei* [每] phonetic." It is also written under 'people' as 敃. Where the sūtra uses 'heart' as 慜, it is erroneously applied. The second character is *qian* + *ye* [jié]. The Fangyan says: "*Jie* means clever; it also means swift." The Shuowen says: "Categorized under 'hand' [手] with *jie* [疌] phonetic." *Jie* [疌] has the same pronunciation as above).
