A handful (the second character is *guan* + *yu* [jū]. The Gujin zhengzi says: "*Ju* means to scoop up, and also to cup the hands to hold something; categorized under 'hand' [手] with *ju* [匊] phonetic." It is also written as 𰏮 or 䉅; anciently it was written as 臼).
